Decision to add a full calendar for the entire summer, and remove protection from the membership list. The registration form will still include a ‘check’ that anyone can elect to NOT have their phone # and email address included.

will be defined as those under the age of 19.

for ‘JUNIOR’ play will be removed from this form and made a seperate form.

‘MEN’S’
league play will be scheduled as in
the past with the suggested play time to be Saturday mornings from 8:00-11:00am
and Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30.

Junior
League: Ken Ward, Dave Whalley, Matt Webster, are creating a new form for
the
‘JUNIORS’
, it will be attached to the Registration form that will be sent. A meeting is scheduled for May 2, 6pm,
before the next board meeting.
Calendar
for League Activities:
Ladies League:
Mixed Doubles: Suggested is that the (A) and (B) mixed doubles play
on Thursday evenings.
Men’s League: Will set up for
Tuesdays and Saturdays. A suggested list will be prepared and sent Mixed Up Doubles: 1st and 3rd
Sundays starting June 19, 2005, July 10 (6:30-8:30pm)
Fall
Up & Down League (Men & Women):
Will begin the week after
School starts. (Aug. 16th) through first of Oct, 6:30-8:30.
Public
Relations:
Chris
Prime and Dave Whalley. A 12’X36” Banner with 16”lettering has been
proposed and approved. The cost would
be about $165.00. It was voted on and passed with the suggestion of changing
the green dark navy blue. Also, to put
the USTA emblem on it. I will appear on
the east fence of the Michigan Road courts.
Also, Dave Whalley reported that we are approved to use (4)
courts.
JUNIOR
LEAGUE:
Matt
Webster reported that their committee believes that their target is with
the (10 to 18) year old boys and
girls. Dave Whalley has volunteered to
instruct a (6) hour program over the course of (3) weeks. This will start with a (2) hour period of
instruction on May 31. This will last
two weeks and will be followed by a (6) week program of singles and doubles for
both boys and girls..
Other
Items of Business:
It was
decided that our board meetings will be held on the first Monday of each month.
Next Meeting: May 2nd, 7pm,
Madison Kitchen and Bath.
